Alec Christian Clark
Beloved teacher, mentor, holistic healer, rockstar and perhaps the loveliest oddball one could ever hope to meet, our beautiful Alec Clark has passed away.
Alec’s life was anything but ordinary. His journey included early years across Northern California as a barista, bartender, truck driver, and restaurant manager before he found his true calling in teaching and mentorship in the Napa Valley. He was a massage instructor, a karate sensei and third-degree black belt, music teacher, camp director, and a multiple-credentialed K-8 educator with a passion for science. He graduated from Sonoma State University with an honors degree in Biology.
One of the most genuine and straightforward people anyone could know, Alec devoted much of his life to exploring the big questions that lie beyond our human conditioning. He did this all while cooking gorgeous meals, mastering a range of guitar styles from folk to hard & heavy metal, and taking better care of others than he did for himself. He loved discussing the mysteries of the cosmos and never shied away from life’s deepest conversations. Perhaps that is what he’s pondering now-or perhaps this next stage has finally given him the answers he spent a lifetime seeking.
He is survived by his daughter, whom he loved more than anything; his two loving sets of parents; two brothers and five sisters; his longtime partner-in-crime; and a huge family of the best people in the world.
Bless you, sweetest lionheart, maestro, sempai, Jedi master – you left us far, far too soon. Until we meet again on the other side, rock on, baby. The dude abides. 11:11 love (Kirk out.)
Late.
